Fiction from Life

It is the art of revealing life through the eyes of people, who exist only in the mind of the author, the creator, until they appear in the mind of a reader. These stories exist within a living universe of minds, forever expanding with each

new reader. This universe revolves around the mind of the creator, yet each mind holds the story in its own unique perspective, providing infinite galaxies of texture, color, and nuance.

Every mind seeks out the creator, and asks an age old question... "Is this all that there is?"

The creator may answer the question, saying... "Come... there is more, and there are new things to behold."

Or the creator may answer, "All things have a beginning and an ending. Leave the old and witness a new creation that I have prepare for you."

Then an inevitable question is presented to the creator, from a mind that is not part of the creator's living universe, and the question is... "Are you nuts? Do you actually have some kind of God complex about your writing?"

And the creator explains... "No, of course not, but it is interesting, nevertheless, that one can view God as the Author of all that there is, and that in each of us, exists a unique view of God's creation, and of God Himself. Yet God is always constant and unchanged, no matter how each of us may perceive Him."

Good Thinking

Cry for the Shadow

Doctor Malcolm Jones is a long-time provider of abortion services. He has performed thousands of abortions over the years, and makes no apologies, believing that his work is important and just.

One fateful day, he forms an unlikely relationship with a woman who is the director of a local Pregnancy Center. In spite of the gulf which separates them, they seem to hit it off. She begins an intense prayer effort, hoping that God will change his heart and open his eyes to the consequences of his occupation.

Book

Malcolm begins to experience dreams and disturbing visions, and he encounters strange children, who seem oddly familiar to him. This is a story about a man, who is forced to justify his life to the cruelest and harshest judge ever known... himself.

Interwoven with the trials and tribulations of Malcolm Jones are those of many others. There are intimate stories of women who

discover that they are faced with an unexpected pregnancy. Their stories reflect many reasons people find themselves in that predicament.

They all face the news in different ways, each with a personal set of fears, both real and imagined. Cry for the Shadows, is a novel that tries to flip light switches on in the reader's mind. Where the grim reality of abortion has been veiled, the horror is revealed.

Life seems to be over; there is shame and fear, which seems too much to bear, yet hope and love are found. There seems to be no one to turn to, but then people turn up, who are ready and eager to help.
